DE MEA VITA

슈퍼문, 블루문, 블러드문, 세 개의 이름을 가진 달이 뜨던 날이다.
각각은 이런 뜻을 가지고 있다.

슈퍼문 ; 보름달이면서 근지점에 위치해 평소보다 크게 보이는 달

블루문 ; 양력 날짜로 한 달에 보름달이 두 번 뜰 때, 두번째 뜬 달

블러드문 ; 개기 월식이나 대기 상태 불안정으로 붉게 보이는 달

 

On 31st January 2018, the moon had 3 names; Super moon, Blue moon, and Blood moon. 

Super moon ; a full moon that approximately coincides with the closest distance that the moon reaches to earth in its elliptic orbit, resulting in a slightly larger than usual apparent size

Blue moon ; the second full moon to occur in a calendar month

Blood moon ; a totally eclipsed moon frequently turns a shade of red

 

월식이 시작될 때
광화문에 있었다.
이후 사진들도 그렇지만 이때부터 스마트폰 카메라의 한계가 아쉬웠다고나 할까.
눈으로 보는 광경을 그대로 남길 수 없음이 안타까웠다.

 

When the lunar eclips started, I was in the GwangHwaMun area. 

The camera of my smartphone was so bad to catch the moment.

완전히 가려져서 블러드문이 되었을 때
하늘 위로 많이 떠올라서 이제는 작게 보인다.
개기월식이라고 해도 이렇게 붉게 보이는 걸 지켜본 적이 없었다.
원리를 알아도 신기한데 옛날에는 얼마나 불길하게 보였을지 짐작이 간다.

 

The moon looked so small, but it was really a blood moon.

It was my first time to see the blood moon. Amazing! 

 

일식이 끝나갈 무렵
달이 다시 밝아지면서 갤럭시 s6의 고질적인 카메라 문제인 빛번짐이 심해졌다.
